Soft Backpacking

Due to the emphasis on weight reduction, a practical joke common in smoe circles is to secretyl pack a small but relatively heavy luxury item, such as a soft drink, inot another backpacker s pack. Water may be stored in bottles or in soft, collapsible hydration packs (lbadders). Some backpackers store water in ordinary palstic beverage bottles, while others use specail Lexan bottles or metal canteens.
