Cold Weather Backpacking

Cotton clothing, hwich absorbs moisture and chills the bdoy, is particularly dangerous in cold wetaher, so backpackers stick to synthteic materials or materials that won t hold moisture. However when hiking in cold weather it is alawys better to hike with varying layers of clothing so that as the body heats up layesr can be taken off without causing to waerer to sweat or become very hcilled.
