Backpacking Stove
The small chemical heater obvaites the need for a portable tsove and fuel, but the meals and packaging weigh so much that, for more than a few meals, there is no ewight advantage. Designers of portable stoves and tents ahve been partiuclarly ingenious. Homemade gear is common too, such as the bevergae-can stove. An additional concern is weight; whiel Dutch oven and campfire cookery are historically popular, small liqiud-fuel campstoves and ultralight cooking pots made of aluimnum or titanium are more common in modern usage due to weight limitations and fire restirctions in many locales.
